ObeoPost Online v2.0 is an internet based application that will allow Obeo users upload photos to Obeo.

The speed of which your photos are adjusted and processed depends on many factors. These include computer processor speed, amount of ram, hard disk space and Internet connection. The more power your computer has, the faster you will be able to process and upload your photos.

We suggest that you read through this entire manual (it’s only a few pages) before you begin posting any photos.

• ObeoPost Online v2.0 will work on the following operating systems:

  Note : You MUST have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed for the interface to work. To download Adobe Flash Player click here .

Pictures:

To ensure best photo quality photos must be:

• Still photos 1600 x 1200 px (at least)
• Panoramic photos 800 px in height
• Over 300 KB in size

Note: If the photos do not meet that criteria, you will see the following error, and the name of the photo will appear in red . However this will not prevent you from uploading these photos to the tour.

Floor Plans:

• Floor Plans must be:
  • JPEG format
  • Readable (Being able to distinguish lines from text.)

There are three different ways that you can login into ObeoPost. You can click on:

• Go to http://obeo.com/obeopost
• Login (top right)
• Manage Images (top center)
• Start (bottom center)

• Click on the tour you want to upload to.
• Click on the Add Images button.
• Browse to where your images are at
• You can upload one image at a time, by selecting the image and click open , or click on a single image within the folder and press “ CTRL + A ”. This will select every image within the folder and then click open to add the images.

You can edit the Room Name and Room Order in two ways.

First: (left side of below image)

• Edit the room name by double clicking on the name of the photo. An auto-complete drop down will appear as you type the room name. You can press enter to select the room name from the auto-complete, or continue to type in the room name.
• Off to the immediate right you can set the room order by double clicking on the number and changing it to the desired number.

Second: (right side of below image)

• Edit the room name over off to the right under Edit Image Settings .
• Under Edit Image Settings below room name you can set the room order .

• Click on the photo you want to be the Main Exterior , click on the drop down box, and then select Main Exterior.
  • The icon will change from to .

• If you are uploading panoramic shots, and the system has already not detected it as a panorama, select the panorama as either a 360 Panorama if the photo makes a complete rotation, or a Non-360 Panorama if the photo is not a complete rotation.
  • The icon will change from to , or to (Non-360)

Floor Plans

• Click on the tour you want to upload to.
• Click on Add Images
• Browse to where you keep your floor plans
• You can upload one floor plan at a time, by selecting the floor plan and click open , or click on a single floor plan within the folder and press “ CTRL + A ”. This will select every floor plan within the folder and then click open to add the floor plans.

• Edit the room name over off to the right under Edit Image Settings .
• Click on the drop down arrow and select Floor Plan: Post Live , this will post the floor plan as is onto the site. If you have ordered a SpaceDesigner for the tour select Floor Plan: SpaceDesigner ReDraw . The floor plan will then be sent off to be constructed as a SpaceDesigner .
• Only after you change the photo type to a Floor Plan option will the icon change from to

Deleting Photos & Floor Plans

• Click on next to the room order number.

• Select Yes from the confirmation pop up.

Choosing StyleDesigner Images

• Select the tour
• Select the photo
• Under Edit Image Settings check the box next to Use this Photo for StyleDesigner.
• When the tour is uploaded the photo will be sent to our processing center to be masked and mapped. The photo will be up on the site within two to five business days.

Posting Photos & Floor Plans

• Before posting your photos you will need to confirm that all of the icons for the photos and floor plans have a green check . This means that the photos are ready to be uploaded to the site. If any of your photos do not have a green check you will need to rename the photos.

• After you have confirmed that your photos are ready to post, click on the Post Images to Web button.0

• Click Ok to proceed with the posting to the selected tour.

• This page confirms that you have an established connection with the ObeoPost Server. Click the Ok button to close down the pop up window.

• You will notice that the Tour Id will flash on and off. This means that your photos are being uploaded, depending on your connection speed, and volume of tours you are uploading it could take several minutes. Do Not Close your browser, if you do then the uploading process will be interrupted. When the tour has completed uploading the Tour Id will stop flashing.

Viewing Tour & Live Thumbnails

• Click on View Tour on Homesite button on the far right.

• The tour will open and you can navigate it
  to make sure all the photos have posted.

Live Thumbnails

• Select the tour
• Click on Live Thumbnails to see all the current photos on the tour.

• To view the images in a medium resolution you can click on the View Images button or click on any of the thumbnail images.
• Within the new window you can navigate to the photos by clicking on the side arrows or by clicking on the small thumbnails next to the side arrows.

High Resolution Images

• Click on the medium resolution image

A new window will open with the high resolution image.

Note : The resolution of the image will be as high as the quality that you originally uploaded.

ObeoPost Settings

General Settings

• Click on the Settings button at the top of the screen.

• These are all of the General settings for ObeoPost.

• By unchecking the Go directly to upload page on login you will need to click on Manage Images or Start under Upload Photos to begin the process of posting photos to your tour.

• By unchecking Auto-suggest room names as they are typed the auto-suggest or auto-complete will be turned off when typing the room name.

• By unchecking Display address with tour both Display address with tour , and Display MLS with tour will be un-checked and when you go to manage your tours only the Tour Id will display.

• By unchecking Display MLS with tour only the Tour Id and the street address will display when you go to manage your tours.

• By checking the Display image size the size of the image will display next to the room name when you are managing the photos.

• By unchecking Prompt before deleting images you will not receive the confirmation asking you if you are sure you want to delete the photos out of ObeoPost.

Tours Settings

• Click on the Settings button at the top of the screen.

• Click on the Tours tab

• This will allow you to show your active tours in ObeoPost. Under this setting it will automatically pull the 50 current active tours. You can set the option to show None , 50 , 100 , 200 , 500 , or All of your active listings.

Room Names Settings

• Click on the Settings button at the top of the screen.

• Click on the Room Names tab

• Here you can add custom room names, and choose from where your auto-suggest will pull room names from.

• To add a Custom Room Name click on Add near the bottom left of the screen.
• In the pop-up type in the Room Name , select the default Room Order number that will be associated with the photo, and then click Ok to add the custom room.

• To edit a custom room name, click on the name of the room under Custom Room Names and then click the edit button.

• To delete a custom room name, click on the name of the room under Custom Room Names and then click the delete button.

• To change from where the auto-suggest room names are pulled from, you can either check, or uncheck the box for Include in Room Name Auto-Suggest under Frequently Used Room Names , and Standard Room Names.

Note : Your Custom Room Names will always be in the auto-suggest, unless you disable the feature under the General tab.
